I never played Civ 5 Multiplayer, but damn it looks so fun

civs i love for liberty include: Arabia and Spain; love that im able to beeline their unique buildings/units. Then combined with religious bonuses i can rush expansion while managing gold and happiness, esp Spain on a continents map, their UU being able to settle cities is one of my favourite strategies; in Civ6 these two are even more powerful with religion and the social policy cards

What I don’t get about liberty is how you gonna make infantry with 10 production cities

God of craftsmen is actually picked these days, particularly for early wars. Expands grow to pop 3 fairly quickly. God of the sea can be strong with some coastal starts, even if it comes online late.

To grow as a channel I guess it's 97% grinding, just put out content 8 hours a day. It's a job.

Day 54 and youve got great armor, loads of famed items, level 11 brothers... At day 54, Im still using basic 90 armor with boar spears and wooden hammers lol. How they hell do you get up and running so fast? Takes about 200 in game days to get my brothers to level 11 and kitted out in 200-plus armor.

Lone wolf for a very rare roll of a character. 3 stars in ranged so you can max it out. That trait that lowers the chance of friendly fire, perk that lowers the penalty for targets behind cover or other people. You get an archer that can stand way behind the Frontline and fire into mele. Probably a bad build but you can cosplay legolas with that.
